Priorities
The Culture National Programme 2021-2027 is divided into 3 different Priorities, each of which is divided into specific objectives and actions:
- Priority 1 – Broadening access to digital heritage and strengthening the competitiveness of cultural enterprises
- Priority 2 – Energy efficiency and risk reduction related to catastrophic natural events
- Priority 3 – Broadening cultural participation and strengthening cultural services and initiatives
- To these is added the Technical Assistance Priority. The objective of the TA Priority is to ensure the availability of suitable tools and skills to guarantee the effective and efficient implementation of the Programme from the managerial and technical point of view, in direct support of the MA and the other structures of the MiC involved in the implementation and for the benefit of the implementing subjects/beneficiaries.
Each of the Priorities, with the exception of Technical Assistance, is aimed at achieving the strategic policy objectives of:

Priorities
OP 1. A more competitive and smarter Europe
OP 1 focuses on two main objectives: expanding access to digital heritage and strengthening the competitiveness of cultural enterprises.

Priorities
OP 2. A resilient, greener, low-carbon Europe
OP 2 focuses on energy efficiency and risk reduction related to catastrophic natural events with the goal of reducing the energy demand of historic public buildings, cultural infrastructure, and cultural services, which often require significant amounts of energy for air conditioning, lighting, and other services.

Priorities
OP 4. A more social and inclusive Europe
OP 4 addresses the need to broaden cultural participation and strengthen cultural services and initiatives in Italy; it aims to transform the role of cultural venues in the Mezzogiorno to make them more integrated into community life; and to promote experimental initiatives to foster greater cultural and artistic participation and production.
