Surveillance
The Surveillance activity is entrusted to the Monitoring Committee, the institutional body responsible for monitoring the progress made in implementing the Program and achieving its objectives.
The Monitoring Committee examines all issues that affect the performance of the Programme, the progress of the activities and the achievement of the intermediate and final targets, carrying out checks on various aspects, including:
- The issues affecting the performance of the program and the measures taken to address them;
- The contribution of the program to overcoming the challenges identified in the relevant country-specific recommendations that are linked to the implementation of the programme;
- The progress made in carrying out the evaluations and summaries of the evaluations, as well as any follow-up given to the results of the same;
- The implementation of communication and visibility actions;
- Progress made in implementing strategically important operations;
The Committee also examines and approves:
- The methodology and criteria for selecting the operations: to this end, if necessary, before the approval of said criteria, it is informed about the results of the conformity check on the operations launched;
- The annual and final implementation reports;
- The Program Evaluation Plan and any changes thereto;
- Any proposals for changes to the Program presented by the Managing Authority.
The Monitoring Committee also represents the main forum for discussion which brings together all the subjects involved in the management and implementation of the Program and the representatives of the relevant partnership.
The Monitoring Committee of the Culture NP 2021-2027 was established on 3 January 2023.
